Jay Phillips-Vo

Jay Phillips-Vo is the owner and founder of Wittmann, AZ Emergency Alerts Facebook page in 2019 after two wildfires came through the community of Wittmann, Arizona. The purpose of Wittmann, AZ Emergency Alerts at that time was to post emergencies alerts in real-time. Wittmann, AZ Emergency Alerts quickly grew to over 1,000 followers and has been growing ever since.

Jay has grown the organization over the years to be much more than just emergency alerts, we're now a locally-oriented news service for Wittmann, Arizona. This is commonly referred to as community journalism. The people of Wittmann trust Wittmann, AZ Emergency Alerts for their news relating to Wittmann, and we're proud to deliver it.

Currently, we have developed a partnership and trust with our local, state, and federal government officials. We have brought on an engagement manager to manage our relationship with the Wittmann community, more content producers, social media moderators, and our community tab's content manager.

As Wittmann grows, we too will grow our team to ensure we're dedicated to the Wittmann Community.

Stacey Parker

Stacey Parker is a resident who supports Wittmann, AZ Emergency Alerts by connecting community members with one another. Stacy works hard to promote neighborly connections, brand awareness, organize community events, managing the community tab and many social media platforms.

Loretta Bascelli

I'm Loretta, I have lived in Wittmann for a few months. I'm the Ready, Set, Go! Coordinator at Wittmann, AZ Emergency Alerts and am a Registered Nurse. I love my three Malinois and three Nubian goats. I was a volunteer for the Surprise Fire-Medical Department's Crisis Response Team for several years, including winning the award for Volunteer of the Year in 2013. Crafting and sewing is my passion when I am not working.

Carla Caslake is a long-time Wittmann resident and owner of Wittmann, Arizona Community Facebook group which posts content from Wittmann, AZ Emergency Alerts to the Facebook group. Carla helps with suggesting story ideas, writing community blurbs, and moderating throughout the website and Facebook page.

Vicki Taylor

Vicki Taylor has been following Wittmann, AZ Emergency Alerts ever since we were established. Vicki supports Wittmann, AZ Emergency Alerts greatly by delivering Ready, Set, Go! bags to residents who were unable to attend community events to pick up a Ready, Set, Go! bag.

Vicki is also one of our Facebook moderators, ensuring that all comments are respectful and abide by our rules and Facebook's policies.
