One Transported After Shooting near 223rd Avenue and Patton Road.
WITTMANN, AZ— Shortly after 5:00 PM on Monday evening, the Arizona Fire & Medical Authority and the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of 223rd Avenue and Patton Road for a report of a gunshot wound call. Upon arrival, deputies located an individual with a gunshot wound in the leg. The individual was transported with no-life-threatening injuries to an area hospital. The individual refuse to cooperate with deputies to identify a suspect and refuse to aide in prosecution.
