Firefighters Battle Shed Fire in Wittmann

Firefighters from the Arizona Fire & Medical Authority responded to the 32000 Block of North Walnut Street for a report of a Shed Fire. While responding to the Shed Fire, the on-duty battalion chief requested the assignment be upgraded to a working fire sending more resources to the scene.

According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, a vacant trailer on a property was engulfed with flames. Fire personnel were able to extinguished the flames preventing the fire from spreading into nearby structures.

There were no injuries reported on the fireground. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.

    how can we get the area across from my house clean up and shrubs cleared, it is Government owned and poorly fenced area on 203rd bypass? and we are needing the signs that show that there is a sharp curve ahead and 15 mph, some fool went off the road/curve at 2 am. not the first time and not the last..
